So now we can see the importance of time management here, we are given less than a minute to read & solve one question. No one crack such exams without proper time management, even if you score well & leave one section, there is no use of your effort at all. So manage the time as follow.

Divide the time in four parts:- As you have to clear each section individually, so divide your time in four section according to your efficiency & calculation. Try to save time in English, Computer  & General awareness section as you can just read & tick the answer. Save more time for reasoning &  aptitude section because you need to think while solving reasoning question that consume more time & calculate while solving aptitude section.

Very Common time allotment for IBPS PO exams section wise :-

Subject                                                                                                           Time Allotted( In Min.)

Quantitative Aptitude                                                                                     40
Reasoning Ability                                                                                           40
English Language                                                                                          30
Computer Awareness                                                                                   20
General Awareness(with special reference to banking industry)             20

                                                                                                Total time      150 min.

Each section is equally important:- In IBPS PO exam, every section is equally important as you have to clear each section individually. So give equal attention to every section.

Maintain Regularity & Consistency:- To clear the IBPS PO exam, you don't have to be genius but just maintain regularity & consistency while preparing because regularity increase your efficiency & calculation speed. Continuous preparation always guarantee a success as

“There is no shortcut for Hard work”.

Don't fall in love with questions:- Very common mistake student made in exams, many student stuck with one question & keep trying to solve that question. So if you are not able to solve a question in max 2 min, leave that question & go ahead, there may 2-3 question in next page that you can solve easily. If  you stuck with that one question, you loose time & 2-3 questions that may increase your score. Because you don't have to solve all 5o questions but only the question that you can solve in time allotted to that section & can clear your cutoff.

“The challenge is not to solve the question but to solve the question in given time is real challenge”

Be Calm & Stay focused:- This is the key to increase your efficiency. Sometime during exam, you feel that the exam is very tough & you might not score well, Don't worry, if exam is tough then its for everyone not for you only, means the cutoff automatically come down. Have confident in yourself & keep solving the questions.

Practice with unsolved/model or previous year papers:- The only thing that can make you perfect in time management. Solve unsolved paper or previous year paper for IBPS PO exams by allotting time to each section according to your efficiency & calculation speed, Keep track of time & compare your performance with last attempt. By solving unsolved/model or previous years papers you will get the following benefits.

  •             You have amazing confidence level.
  •             Get to know your  weak & strong area.
  •             Perfect time management.

  •             Remove your nervousness.

At last only one advice

                                        Practice, Practice & Practice.........
