ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for PO/MT -2014-15

Candidates, intending to apply for CWE PO/MT-IV should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS in this advertisement:

Age for IBPS PO-2014-15(As on 01.07.2014):

Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years
i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1984 and not later than 01.07.1994 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications for IBPS PO/MT 2014-15:
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

HOW TO APPLY for IBPS PO/MT 2014-15:-
Candidates can apply online only from 22.07.2014 to11.08.2014and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Pre-Requisites for Applying Online

Before applying online, candidates should--
(i) scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure II to this Advertisement.

(ii) if desiring to make online payment of application fees/ intimation charges keep the necessary details/documents ready (In case of Offline Payment i.e. CBS candidates have to apply online, obtain a fee payment challan and then remit the necessary application fees/ intimation charges).

(iii) have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the completion of this round of Common Recruitment Process. IBPS may send call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, a candidate should share with/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. HOW TO APPLY
A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees separately for each post.
Candidates can apply online only from 18.06.2014 to 09.07.2014 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

CUTOFF SCORE
Each candidate will have to secure a minimum score in each test and also on total. Mere passing in individual tests may not be sufficient as candidates should also score sufficiently high on Total in order of merit to be called for interviews to be conducted by RRBs. The cut-off points to qualify in each of the tests will be decided based on the average (Average – ¼ Standard Deviation for General category candidates and Average – ¾ Standard Deviation for Reserved Category candidates).

CWE SCORE
The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equipercentile method. The candidates’ scores will be made available on IBPS website and candidates may view the same using their credentials like registration no., roll no., password etc.

VALIDITY OF CWE SCORES
Score issued by IBPS will be valid for one year from the date of display of the Score on IBPS’s website and will be considered for recruitment exercises by the RRBs during that period.

The dates for the Online Examination for the post of Officers have been tentatively fixed on 06.09.2014/ 07.09.2014 and the dates for the Online Examination for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) have been tentatively fixed on 13.09.2014/ 14.09.2014/ 20.09.2014/ 21.09.2014.

(A) Educational Qualifications for SBI(State Bank Of India) PO-2014-15 as on 10.08.2014:-

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year of their Graduation/Semester may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 10.08.2014. Candidate having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 10.08.2014.

Note : The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the marksheet or provisional certificate issued by the University / Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University / Institute then a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University / Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

HOW TO APPLY SBI(State Bank Of India) PO-2014-15 As on 01.04.2014:- Only online mode of application  will be accepted for registration, no other mode will be accepted.Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank's website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through one of the following modes:

(i) Offline mode : The system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate's details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will be complete.

(ii) Online mode : The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.
Pre-requisites for Applying Online Candidates should have valid email ID which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/interview advices etc. by email.

SELECTIONPROCEDURE for SBI(State Bank Of India) PO-2014-15 :

Phase-I Examination consisting Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.
The Objective Test will be online. Immediately after online Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered. Cadidates will have to answer Descriptive Test on paper/Pen mode.

(i)Objective Test: TheObjective Test with 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:

a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing&Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis&Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test with 1 hour duration (50marks) will be of “Test
of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing &essay)”.
The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing
marks, to be decided by the Bank.

Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored
qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are Placed adequately high as per total
marks in objective test.

(b) Phase-II Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks) The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Discussion &Interview will be as decided by the Bank. Candidates qualified for GD & Interview under 'OBC' category are required to submit OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause. Candidates not submiting the OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause and requesting to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained.

Final Selection for SBI(State Bank Of India) PO-2014-15

The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase-II separately. Marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Discussion &Interview out of 100 for each category. The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category. Results of the candidates who have qualified for Phase II and the list of candidates
finally selected will be made available on the Bank's website. Final select list will be published in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar.

EMOLUMENTS/SALARY/BENEFITS for SBI(State Bank Of India) PO-2014-15:-

PAY: The starting basic pay is ` 16,900/-(with 4 increments) in the scale of ` 14500-600/ 7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A & C.C.A as per rules in force from time to time. The compensation per annum at Mumbai is around ` 8,40,000/-. The break up of monthly compensation is as under:

    Those who have completed graduation with 55% (Aggregate) marks in any discipline.
    Up to 25 years of age as on 10th January 2014 (should have been born on or after 9th January 1988).

Selection Process and Fees of the Training Programme

Fees of the Training Programme
 
The Probationary Officer Training Programme is a cashless bridge to managerial jobs for aspiring students. To pursue the Probationary Officer Training Programme, the interested students will have to invest rupee 3.37 lakh (The course fee is rupee 3 lakh. Along with the applicable service tax at the current rate of 12.36%, the total amount to be paid is rupee 3.37 lakh). However, during repayment of the loan, the prevalent service tax rates will apply ) which would be provided by ICICI Bank as a loan at a subsidized interest rate of 2.5%. p.a. This is the fee for the first phase of the PGDB programme. The fee for Phase II is an additional amount of rupee 1.5 lakh. This will be paid by students who opt for this phase.
After completion of the Training Programme, the Probationary Officers will be absorbed as Assistant Manager in the Bank. The loan is to be repaid by Probationary Officers in equated monthly installment (EMI) after joining the Bank. There would be no recovery of EMI or interest during the training and internship period, the interest accrued during this period would be recovered along with the normal EMI. The EMI is spread over a period of 60 months to ensure that there is minimal impact in the monthly earnings of the Probationary Officer.
However, if the applicant leaves during training or within five years of joining ICICI Bank after training, ICICI Bank would recover the principal and the interest at market rate on the entire loan amount for the period that the amount was given as a loan to the Probationary Officer.

What is ICICI Probationary Officer Training Programme

Probationary Officer Training Programme is an initiative of ICICI Bank to attract young talent who wish to pursue a career in banking. It is designed to develop specialists with banking knowledge and skills to fulfill the future need of trained bankers.

It is a one year full time residential training programme, conducted at ICICI Manipal Academy campus, Bangalore. Applicants joining the Probationary Officer Training Programme will be enrolled for MBA in Banking and Finance with Manipal University, an UGC recognized University.

Since its inception in 2007 more than 6,800 students have joined the Bank and currently 1,900 students are undergoing the training at the ICICI Manipal Academy Campus in Bangalore.
MBA (Banking & Finance) program consists of two phases:

    Phase I (12 months): This phase comprises of 7 months of on-campus classroom training & 5 months of internship in ICICI Bank. Upon successful completion of this phase, participants are awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking (PGDB).

Salient Features of Probationary Officer Training Programme:

    The training has a blended curriculum with instructor led classroom sessions, e-learning and internship at ICICI Bank branches/offices.
    The training imparts knowledge and skills in core banking (banking products,banking operations, channels and customers, receipts and payments, etc). The trainees will have the opportunity to specialize in one of the following areas in banking:

    i) Trade Finance
    ii) Privilege Banking

    The participants are put through a very rigorous training with special emphasis on application of knowledge and overall development of personality.

    The Probationary Officers are paid stipend to meet the out of pocket expenses.

Age, Educational Qualifications & Post Qualification Work Experience (As on 01.11.2013):

**In case of dual qualifications/ specializations candidates have to necessarily produce proof at the time of interview as also at the time of recruitment that their major specialization conforms to the requisite eligibility prescribed for the post

For posts other than IT Officer Scale I & II candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.


Written Examination

Pattern of IBPS CWE Specialist Officers Written Examination:- IBPS CWE Specialist Officers Written Examination consists of four sections namely Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness(with special reference to Banking Industry) & Professional Knowledge each with 50 marks. Time allotted for exam is 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours.      

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.


INTERVIEW
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the examination for CWE SPL-III will subsequently be called
for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in. Please note that any request regarding change in date, centre etc. of interview will not be entertained. However the conducting agencies reserve the right to change the date/ venue/ time/ centre etc. of interview or hold supplementary process for particular date / session / venue / centre / set of candidates at its discretion, under unforeseen circumstances, if any.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum score required in interview will not be less
than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (SPL-III) and interview will be 80:20. The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in CWE (SPL-III) and Interview. A candidate should found suitable both in the CWE and interview to be shortlisted for subsequent allotment process, details of which will be available subsequently on IBPS website.


List of Documents to be produced at the time of interview


The following documents in original together with a self attested photocopy in support of the candidate’s eligibility and identity are to be invariably submitted at the time of interview failing which the candidate may not be permitted to appear for the interview

(i) Printout of the valid Interview Call Letter
(ii) Valid system generated printout of the online application form registered for CWE SPL-III
(iii) Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB)
(iv) Photo Identify Proof as indicated in Point J below
(v) Marksheets & certificates for educational qualifications. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 01.11.2013 has to be submitted.
(vi) Caste Certificate issued by competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by Government of India in case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates.

In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, certificate should specifically contain a clause that the candidate does not belong to creamy layer section excluded from the benefits of reservation for Other Backward Classes in Civil post & services under Government of India. OBC caste certificate containing the ‘Non-creamy layer’ clause should be issued during the period 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014. Caste Name mentioned in certificate should tally letter by letter with Central Government list / notification.  Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming under creamy layer are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as General in the online application
form.

(vii) Medical Certificate in prescribed format in case of Persons With Disability category If the candidate desires to use the services of a Scribe at the time of CWE the duly filled in Biodata of the scribe in the prescribed format is to be submitted. This is a must.

(viii) An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the discharge Certificate / pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of interview. Those who are still in defence service should submit a certificate from a  competent authority that they will be relieved from defence services, on or before 16.12.2014.

(ix) Candidates serving in Government / quasi govt offices/ Public Sector Undertakings (including
Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions) are required to produce a “No Objection certificate” from their employer at the time of interview, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered and travelling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid.

(x) Experience certificates, as applicable.

(xi) Persons falling in categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) of Point B (I) should produce a certificate of
eligibility issued by the Govt. Of India

(xiv) Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility   


HOW TO APPLY for IBPS CWE Specialist Officer Exam -2013

Candidates can apply online only from 25.11.2013 to 14.12.2013 and no other mode of application will be accepted.


Pre-Requisites for Applying Online

Before applying online, candidates should--
(i) scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure II to this Advertisement.

(ii) keep the necessary details/documents for Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation
charges ready.

(iii) have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the declaration of results of this round of CWE. IBPS may send call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, a candidate should share with/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line and must maintain that email account.

Procedure for applying online
(1) Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CWE SPL-III” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CWE- Specialist Officers (CWE SPL-III)” to open the On-Line Application Form.
(2) Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload in the online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature (Annexure II).
(3) Candidates should carefully fill in the details in the On-Line Application at appropriate places very carefully including registration of preferences for Participating Organisations and click on the “SUBMIT” button at the end of the Online Application format. Before pressing the “SUBMIT” button, candidates are advised to verify every field filled in the application. The name of the candidate or his /her father/husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
(4) The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
(5) The payment can be made by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
(6) After the upload of photograph and signature an additional page of the application form is displayed wherein candidates may follow the instructions and fill in the requisite details.
(7) If the online transaction has been successfully completed a Registration Number and Password will be generated. Candidates should note their Registration Number and Password for future reference.
(8) If the online transaction has not been successfully completed then the following message is displayed ‘Your online transaction was unsuccessful. Please register again’ Candidates may then revisit the ‘Apply Online Online’ link and fill in their application details again.
(9) On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.
(10) Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and the submitted online application form.

(ii) Candidates who are still in the Armed Forces and desirous of applying under Ex-Servicemen category should submit Proforma B from the Competent Authority showing his/her date of completion of specific period of engagement (SPE) along with the declaration in Proforma C. Such candidates whose SPE is completed  on or before 09.09.2014 are eligible to apply. Such candidates have to submit a release letter and a self declaration from the candidate that he/ she is entitled to benefits admissible to Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules (iii) Those candidates who have completed their initial period of assignment and who are on extended assignment are required to submit the certificate as per Proforma D.
